The Oxford dictionary says that a “foodie” is a person with a particular interest in food; a gourmet. Collins would suggest “having an enthusiastic interest in the preparation and consumption of good food”. HALOODIES fits both, and is aimed at the growing generations of young, middle-class Muslim consumers with a growing demand for high quality and varied Halal food.

There’s Halal and now there’s Haloodies!
Surveys suggest that no more than 3% of the UK population are vegetarian, yet Muslims represent 5% of the population but in most supermarkets there’s no Halal option… nothing! This initial range of 7 sku’s launched in Tesco’s is the first of many potential products in Haloodies plans to rectify this situation.
